Biomedical Systems initiated our service offerings to physicians and hospitals over 35 years ago beginning with Holter analysis. Since this time, we have processed well over 2 million scans while progressively expanding our physician and hospital services as well as incorporating extensive clinical trial offerings. Biomedical Systems’ ability to transmit and analyze ambulatory ECG data providing an accurate final report delivered promptly has been the cornerstone of our tremendous growth.

We provide our clients with superior management of cardiac test procedures via a proprietary internet-based application. Biomedical Systems' Data Exchange® facilitates the acquisition, transfer, and review of Holter reports. ECG data is transmitted electronically via Data Exchange to one of Biomedical Systems’ analysis centers in North America or Europe. Cardiac technicians access and analyze the Holter data posting a completed report for the attending physician. A simple internet connection allows physicians to then view and print reports. Validated final reports are delivered in PDF format.

Cardiac Event Monitoring

The Biomedical Systems Cardiac Event Monitoring advantage offers physicians and hospitals reliable monitors, easy access to testing data, and friendly, professional customer service. Delivered on-time, our patient-friendly cardiac event monitors ensure accurate and reliable ECG recordings. We utilize a number of different monitors in order to provide equipment most appropriate to physician and hospital services including post-symptom and memory loop recorders including auto-trigger devices. Cardiac event monitors include all supplies required for a 30 day monitoring period and a prepaid envelope for device return. Biomedical Systems’ considerable supply of monitors ensures our clients that devices are readily available.

Physicians can easily access cardiac event testing data around the clock using GlobalCardio, a customizable internet application from Biomedical Systems. GlobalCardio is a HIPAA compliant web application which gives clients the ability to electronically enroll new patients for testing, change report formats instantly, add interpretive comments to reports, and zoom in on ECG transmissions. Physicians can also utilize interactive calipers to measure rates and intervals. GlobalCardio provides internet delivery and review of ECG reports including email notification of newly available reports.
