Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive cold calling to prospects using the phone aggressively, gathering sales intelligence, and passing qualified leads to business development directors and the area manager

- Conduct market research to identify key contacts and decision makers at targeted companies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform as primary contact with sponsor and manage all facets of pulmonary clinical trial
- Perform daily/ongoing management of client inquiries

- Oversee activities of over reading staff and data specialist assigned to study to ensure accuracy of data
- Provide internal and external reports in a timely manner as needed

- Assist management in supervising data technicians assigned to their project
- Interface with multiple departments with the company regarding data submission schedules
Skill & Education Required:
- Four year college degree in health/life sciences or business
- AAS in respiratory therapy with RRT and CPFT or RPFT credentials a MUST
- 3-5 years corporate project management experience

Functions
While territories and accounts are always subject to change, you will be covering a part of Europe in conjunction with the existing BD personnel. Your responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Represent Biomedical Systems for the purpose of introducing our company and our services so that we secure studies utilizing the numerous services we provide in a clinical trial setting. The means to achieve this will involve a mixture of telemarketing, cold calling, scheduled face-to-face meetings, corporate presentations, industry trade shows, executive briefings, sponsor tours of corporate or European headquarters, etc.
- Identifying opportunities – working together with Inside Sales, Budgets&Contracts, Operations and other BD personnel to identify large opportunities in the marketplace. Generate new leads and prospects.
- Opening doors: position the company to deliver services pitch for new opportunities.
- Trail blazing: Identify key contacts to build new business and cultivate current customers.
- Closing deals: work with customers to close deals.
- Relationship Building: Establish long-term relationships and guarantee recurrent business. Establish opportunities in current customers for long term sales growth. Optimal goal is putting MSAs and preferred vendor relationships in place, guarantee horizontal (more services) and vertical (revenue) growth.
- Future Building & strategic planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy leading to sales of the company's clinical trial services at or above quota. Continue to keep the company on the leading edge by working with key contacts. Leverage multiple relationships at sponsors and CROs in clinical development, outsourcing and operations to build consensus.
In geographic areas that are not currently being addressed, and for which you have contacts, you will be encouraged to develop that business subject to the approval of the Director Sales and Marketing Europe.
You will be working as a member of a team that has Business Development personnel in the U.S., India and in Brussels. You will be employed by the Brussels office in the Sales and Marketing team and you will work under the direction of the Director of Sales and Marketing Europe based out of the Brussels office. You will work closely together and communicate regularly with the Director of Pharmaceutical Operations, the Director of Imaging Operations in the Brussels Office and the Scientific Affairs group. You will work closely and communicate with other Business Development personnel in Europe as well as in the US and India and the operations staff for all diagnostic areas.
Profile
- Bachelor /Master degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration or similar by experience
- A highly experienced sophisticated Sales Professional with a significant profile within the clinical services, CRO or the wider pharmaceutical technology market.
- At least 5+ years experience with the pharmaceutical industry and strong background with in-depth industry knowledge
- International experience – European market minimum
- A dynamic “hands on” and “can do” attitude which exudes confidence and credibility.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- A top flight individual achiever with a highly consultative approach and the credibility to be able to negotiate and close deals at the highest level through the formation and retention of multiple business relationships with decision makers, influencers and other stakeholders as appropriate.
