| Patrick leads the Women's Health Services team, a division that specializes in providing home obstetrical services throughout the country. Under his leadership, the Women's Health Services division has grown to be one of the largest providers of high-risk obstetrical services in the United States. |

Patrick directed Biomedical Systems' role in a clinical study on the effects of a Pre-term Birth Prevention Program for Medicaid pregnancies. The study results, in which the Medicaid pre-term birth rate dropped dramatically, were presented at an American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology National meeting. Patrick was instrumental in the development and introduction of Biomedical Systems' state-of-the-art 770 Home Uterine Activity Monitor, the latest uterine monitor introduced in the marketplace. The 770 Monitor is FDA cleared for preterm use. Additionally, Mr. Barrett also oversees the Wound Care Products Division, which markets the patented pressure relief device, the Heeler® that eases patients suffering from pressure ulcers, reduces medical costs and saves on nursing time.
Patrick earned his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He serves in many civic and business organizations, including the Missouri Governor's Advisory Council on Aging, the Missouri Horse Racing Commission, the St. Louis County's Highway and Traffic Commission, the Kilo Diabetes Foundation Board, the Howard Park Early Childhood Development Board,and the Saint Louis Bank Advisory Board. |
