Geert is a Belgian citizen of 49. He holds a degree of Doctor in Medicine, a masters in Biomedical Techniques and a Post-Graduate degree in Business Administration. Geert started his career with Siemens in 1986, where he held growing responsibilities in product management and sales management, mainly in the Medical Divisions in Germany and France. In 1998 he moved to Sony Belgium as General Manger B2B activities where, as of 2000, he took on additional responsibilities as Director Healthcare Business with Sony Europe. He later joined Agfa Healthcare where he was appointed Managing Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
