In 1994 Biomedical Systems pioneered centralized spirometry in multi-site clinical trials. Since then, our Pulmonary Function Core Lab has continually added new centralized services to assist pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies, CROs, and medical device companies acquire, analyze and manage diagnostic data that is most relevant to the type of compound being developed or therapeutic area investigated.

To date, over 7,000 patients from 1,103 sites in 25 countries have utilized Biomedical Systems' Centralized Pulmonary Services. We have successfully captured and submitted more than 1.6 million pulmonary function tests and have processed over 100 million pulmonary function data points in the past 14 years.

Our experienced team now offers Sponsors the ability to conduct efficient and cost-effective trials using a methodology that works best for your particular study. Study data and reports are available through a proprietary web based access portal - EasyPFT.
