CEM / TTM

Biomedical Systems has provided Cardiac Event Monitoring (CEM) - also knows as Transtelephonic Arrhythmia Monitoring (TTAM) - and data management, protocol development, standardized equipment, and technical support for clinical trials since 1987. This technology is used frequently in atrial fibrillation studies and requires discussions as to the type of equipment used, ranging from single-event to looping-memory recorders with storage capabilities.

After initiation of a recording, the patient can transmit the ECG data to our receiving center 24 hours a day. For every patient monitoring, a comprehensive report is generated immediately upon completion of data transmission. Interpretation of the reports by a certified cardiologist or investigator is available.

Biomedical Systems Advantages

  • Standardized CEM/TTM equipment (single-event or looping-memory), lead wires, disposable supplies supplied to all sites
  • CEM/TTM services in single and multicenter clinical trials around the world
